Sebo-regulating agent
Zinc gluconate acts on excess sebum to regulate and durably mattify shiny areas of the skin.
Purifies
Also known for its purifying properties, this molecule helps to visibly clear the skin.
Ekobiologia
Zinc gluconate, derived from zinc, a mineral naturally present in the skin, has been chosen for its sebum-regulating action. It acts on the increased production of sebum in oily skin by inhibiting a key enzyme involved in the natural sebum production mechanism: 5-alpha reductase. In this way, zinc interacts with the skin's natural mechanismsto limit the shine problems that affect combination to oily skin.
Odpowiednia dawka
The right dose of molecule is determined to guarantee optimal efficacy and tolerance, to support natural mechanisms without overloading the skin's ecosystem.
What causes facial shine?
Oily skin produces more sebum than it should. Sebum is the oily lipid film on the surface of the skin that protects it against external factors. If it is overproduced, the sebum becomes visible, causing shiny skin and pores that easily become blocked... This creates fertile ground for the development of spots and other blemishes.
How do I know if I have oily skin?
If your face looks shiny most of the time, you probably have oily skin. Other characteristics may be seen: slightly thicker skin, uneven skin texture, dilated pores. Stress, pollution, hormones, unsuitable face care... a number of factors can explain oily facial skin.
What constitutes excess sebum?
Sebum is composed of lipids and contributes to the face’s skin barrier function. It protects the skin from damage, especially UV-induced oxidation. With hyperseborrhoea, or excess sebum, oily skin tends to shine on the entire face. Unsuitable or poorly used cosmetics (too rich, too stripping) and sun exposure without protection can encourage excess sebum production. In adulthood, causes include pollution, smoking, stress and fatigue.
Pure Active: how is this different from a serum?
In terms of the way it is used, Pure Actives are applied like a serum: to clean skin before your face cream, to provide a specific action. But, unlike a serum, our Pure Actives only contain a single, perfectly dosed, active molecule, which precisely targets a skin issue. This means that they are ultra-safe, since there’s no risk of a cocktail effect (piling up different active ingredients). And our international INSkin patent helps it to penetrate down to where it needs to be in the skin.
What is the difference between Pure Skincare and Pure Actives?
Pure Skincare products do not contain any active ingredients, to take care of skin every day, without needlessly irritating it. Conversely
Do your products contain fragrances?
We strive to offer your skin only what it needs, and because it has no fragrance, we've decided to remove it from our products too! The result? A pure formula without allergens but with a pure molecule precisely dosed, based on scientific research, to provide concentrated effectiveness without harming your skin.
U podstaw naszych produktów leży podejście równie ważne jak efekt końcowy.
